Flywheel mass

I have gotten hold of a second flywheel so I hope to get it on the lathe to remove some of the mass from the outer edge. Why? Well without putting all of the technical reasons here, I expect to be able to allow the cranks acceleration to be faster. All without comprimising the structural intergeity and loosing the ability to make power for all the systems.
